Education: B.S. from Lehigh University

First job outside of real estate: I started my own lawn mowing business when I was 14 years old.

First job in real estate or allied field: My first real estate related job was as a Staff Property Accountant at S.L. Green back when they were still a private company.

What do you do now and what are you planning for the future? I run the multifamily business for the Steinberg Family. We have been buying apartment buildings in Manhattan and the Boros. We’re trying to scale the business in a thoughtful and prudent manner.

How do you unwind from a busy day in real estate? By listening to music and hanging out with my wife and two kids.

Favorite book or author: John Gierach. He writes about fishing. Everything he writes is insightful and funny.

Favorite movie: That is too hard of a question. There are so many good ones.

Last song you downloaded? I try to only download full albums. The last one was “Dreaming My Dreams” by Waylon Jennings.

One word to describe your work environment: Collegial

Rules to live by in business: Operate with honesty and integrity. 2) Push hard to get what you want but not so much that nobody ever wants to do business with you again.

If you could invite one person to dinner (living or dead) who would it be and where would you go? NRA President, Wayne LaPierre. Dinosaur BBQ. My hope is that by the end of dinner, he would soften his stance on some of his positions.

What is your dream job? I know I’m supposed to say I have it. The fact is, I really do love my job. However, my dream job would be to own and run a professional soccer team either in MLS or the English Premier League.
