What do you do now and what are you planning for the future? I’m a structural engineer at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. (SGH). I specialize in the renovation and rehabilitation of existing buildings in New York City, primarily working for building owners, developers, and architects. In the future, I hope to grow SGH’s New York office.

How do you unwind from a busy day in real estate? Mountain biking in northern New Jersey

Favorite book or author: “Thinking, Fast and Slow” by Daniel Kahneman

Favorite movie: “Dumb and Dumber”

Last song you purchased/downloaded? “Fever” by the Black Keys

One word to describe your work environment: Cubicley

Rules to live by in business: Be Responsive

If you could invite one person to dinner (living or dead) who would it be and where would you go? I don’t think I’d want to have dinner with a dead person—probably wouldn’t be great conversation. I’ll go with Louis C.K. at a dive bar.

What is your dream job? Ski bum, but I hear that doesn’t pay too well. So structural engineering it is.
